Test your steering, balance, and speed - but hold on tight as these machines have a habit of aquaplaning and throwing you off when you least expect it! Choose between a stand up Jet Ski, which tests your balance and stamina, a sit down Jet Bike to test your handling and speed or a Jet Rib which is easy to manoeuvre and great fun. Then take on the mile long course and prepare to get wet. Itinerary: On arrival at the lake you must report to reception and present your gift voucher in order to redeem your session booked. Shortly afterwards you will be issued with a wet suit and buoyancy aid before you progress to the pre launch area. Here you will be met by your Instructor who will provide instruction on your chosen vehicle, with details of the anticlockwise course and a full safety briefing. Sit down Jet Bikes and Jet Ribs will be on the main lake, where stand up Jet Skis will be on a sectioned off area (for additional safety) as these skis are great fun, but require more balance than the other machines. Hovercraft Flying For Two
Take to the controls of a race-bred hovercraft at a purpose-built course. Your instructor will show you the skills that you need to operate the vehicle. Once you have mastered the basics you will move on to the Hover Track - featuring both land and water sections. You will be able to put your skills to the test in a series of relay and/or pursuit races against other participants. Take the Final Challenge and see how quickly you can complete a full lap of the track! A unique racing day you'll not forget in a hurry. Itinerary: Upon arrival you will be given a safety briefing. Your instructor will show you the basic skills that you will need to fly the hovercraft. Once you are ready you will move on to the Hover Track. You will participate in a series of races against other participants at the Kent location and obstacles courses at the Leicestershire location. After a break for refreshments, each participant will be timed as they go around the track, with the final lap being recorded. At the end of the year (Kent location only), the winner will be given contacted to claim their prize of a free day at the hover course.
