Sigur Ros - Inni (2cd + Dvd)
Inni is the eagerly awaited double live album and DVD collection by the Icelandic post rock band Sigur Rós and is their first live album and second live film release to date. Their music is very innovative and distinctive following along the styles of being a transcendant sweep of minimalistic melody taking in some elements of ambience and creating an experience within each song with the use of emotivity and intangible ethereality. This release encapsulates the band's performance at Alexandra Palace in November 2008 as they draw upon songs from every one of their albums as well as a new previously unreleased song entitled Lúppulagid. Sigur Rós performing live takes their music to an entirely new level and from the use of the camera angles the live film addresses the watcher almost directly making the music feel so much more personal. This style of filming allows the emotions and passion felt throughout the performance transferrable to the watcher creating the feeling of being there inside the music and the performance. This is where the title Inni comes from as it literally means inside. Michael Kiwanuka - Home Again
Home Again is the full length debut studio album by the British soul singer Michael Kiwanuka.This is the follow up to his debut EP Tell Me A Tale which was released in 2011. The album is predominantly acoustic based with a fantastic blend of jazz and soul elements featured throughout. Kiwanuka encompasses the best aspects of classic music with his own contemporary and modern twist creating his own unique sound that effortlessly pours from each song. Featured on the album is the lead album titled single Home Again which is a feel good song that amply displays Kiwanuka's rich vocal talent which has the ability to warm the soul with every word he sings. The acoustic melodies are understated and delicate harmonising and overlapping perfectly therefore allowing his voice and his wonderfully written lyrics to carry the song through. Home Again is a beautiful album in itself and makes for an astonishing debut record for the incredibly talented Michael Kiwanuka. Superb. (Cat Emerson)

M83 - Hurry Up We're Dreaming
Hurry Up We're Dreaming is the fantastic sixth studio album by the incredibly innovative French electric/dream pop musician Anthony Gonzalez otherwise and more widely known as M83. The album spans across two discs and is a somewhat autobiographical conceptual album detailing the different types of dreams humans experience at different ages in their lives through child teenager and adult. It's noted that the two discs should be treated as if they are brother and sister with a corresponding sibling song on the other disc for each track. Hurry Up We're Dreaming is an encapsulating sweep of a multitude of textured haunting melodies spun with the use of airy reverb synth and dream-like vocals played out softly over this aura of song. The album features the lead single Midnight City: four minutes of transcendant synth pop. Featuring a quiet drum beat playing throughout the song swells in to a beautiful mess of electronica and subtle distortion for the chorus allowing the layering of ethereal vocals to take full effect on the listener. Despite making fans wait three years for this release these two discs of pure electro dream pop gold more than make up for it and may be the best M83 album to date. (Cat Emerson)
